Skills Inventory Survey
The Faculty of Native Studies (FNS) is conducting a skills inventory analysis of FNS graduates by interviewing both employers of FNS graduates and those likely to employ FNS graduates to better understand how Native Studies degrees and certificates equip graduates to fulfill their career responsibilities.
The purpose of this study is to collect information about graduates’ employment and educational experiences, in order to gain detailed information about the strengths of Native Studies programming and areas that could be enhanced in the future.
All participation is voluntary and you can withdraw your participation by March 15, 2023. If you choose to participate, your responses will be anonymous and will be used for both program evaluation purposes as well as part of academic publications discussing the ways in which Indigenous studies as a discipline can improve how we teach our students.
This survey is not intended to evaluate our individual graduates, but rather is to ensure that Native Studies programming is timely, well designed, prepares graduates for their career responsibilities, and provides skills that employers require of our graduates.
The survey should take you approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. You do not have to answer any questions that you do not want to answer. Once you have completed the survey, please hit the submit button. We will be accepting survey responses until March 15, 2023.
All participants will be given the opportunity to enter a draw for an FNS Hoodie and two FNS prize packs, names of those in the draw will not be connected to individual responses. As such while anonymity of responses is guaranteed, we cannot guarantee anonymity of participation for those participants who enter the draw.
Thank you for your interest, the alumni survey is now closed. The employer survey is open until April 30.
