Daniels Conference: In and Beyond the Law
On January 26, 27, and 28, 2017, the Rupertsland Centre for Métis Research in the Faculty of Native Studies (University of Alberta) hosted the Daniels Conference: In and Beyond the Law. The conference explored the social and political implications of the recently decided Supreme Court of Canada Daniels decision.
The conference brought together experts and community members to discuss the implications of the decision. It focused more broadly on social and political impacts, as well as implications of identity, membership, and registration.
