Connecting with the Community

This summer, 2017, RCMR got to be a part of the Lac Ste. Anne pilgrimage in Alberta, Canada. Jenn Rossiter, RCMR Coordinator, joined the Métis Kinscapes Project research group to explore and learn more about the spiritual gathering just outside of Edmonton.

We were also lucky to have Avery Letendre and Kirsten Lindquist at this year's Métis Nation of Alberta Annual General Assembly in August. They were able to attend as representatives for the RCMR, the Faculty of Native Studies, as well as the Indigenous Governance and Partnership Program! Thanks ladies!
