Dr. Kelly Narine, PhD
Dr. Narine received her PhD in Medical Genetics from the University of Alberta where she studied molecular and cellular changes in pathways of carcinogenesis. Subsequently, she worked in the life sciences industry in the areas of clinical affairs and quality assurance. Transitioning back into academia, Kelly managed two provincial interdisciplinary translational research and education programs, the first in cardiology and the second in oncology.
Dr. Narine is passionate about translational research and multidisciplinary collaboration to address global health issues. She is happy to be part of the NMHI and CRINA leadership teams as we strive for excellence in translational health research at national and international levels.
