Neuroscience Research Day

Neuroscience Research Day (NRD) is the Neuroscience and Mental Health Institute’s annual student research showcase event that highlights the graduate student research within the institute and facilitates inter-disciplinary interactions among students and faculty.

The Neuroscience Graduate Students’ Association has successfully organized and hosted an annual NRD at the University of Alberta for the past 14 years. This all-day event is an opportunity for neuroscience students at the University of Alberta, and the neighbouring universities of Lethbridge and Calgary, to present their research to the university community, clinicians, interested members of the public, prospective students and NMHI faculty members.

The highlight of NRD is a keynote address given by a well-established leader in neuroscience research.
