Graduate Student with Dr. Maria Ioannou: Neuronal lipid trafficking in health and disease

A graduate student position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Maria Ioannou.

The lab is focused on understanding the cell biological mechanisms of lipid trafficking and metabolism in the brain. We are currently recruiting an energetic and talented graduate student to study lipid trafficking and lipotoxicity during oxidative stress and ischemic stroke.

Techniques used in the lab include primary neuron cultures, quantitative microscopy, biochemistry and mouse models of stroke. For more information on the lab please visit ioannoulab.com
