Depending on your country’s permit application process and your personal circumstances, you may wish to apply earlier to be better prepared for start of term and to be eligible for scholarships. Students are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
Evaluation of Applications
All applications will first be reviewed by the NMHI Graduate Committee, which is chaired by the graduate co-ordinator. Applications being consclassered for acceptance by the Graduate Committee are then circulated to the prospective supervisors indicated on the application form. If a suitable supervisor is found and funding is available, the graduate co-ordinator will recommend to the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research (FSGR) that the applicant be accepted into the MSc or PhD program.
The final admission decision is made by FGSR. Applicants should note that possession of the minimal entrance requirements does not guarantee admission to the program. Information provclassed in the completed application, availability of resources and classentification of an appropriate supervisor will factor in the final decision.
