NMHI Research Day Success!
The Neuroscience Graduate Students' Association hosted Research Day this on Friday, March 8, 2019. The annual event provides students a chance to present their research and engage with faculty and other students.
The event was a huge success with student speakers, a poster competition, panel discussion on career options after grad school, as well as a keynote address from Tim Murphy, University of British Columbia.
Congratulations Rachel Ward-Flanagan who won best 5 minute oral presentation, Brandon Hauer best 10 minute oral presentation, and Vaibhavi Kadam best poster at the NMHI Research Day.
This event has been made possible thanks to the support of the Society for Neuroscience, and Campus Alberta Neuroscience. This visit has been funded in part by the Walter Mackenzie Visiting Speaker Fund.
