Seminar Series

The NMHI Seminar Series has been running for over 35 years, bringing leading experts in neuroscience and mental health research to the University of Alberta in order to share their knowledge and promote collaboration. These events are open to everyone, however they are often designed for an academic or medical audience.

The seminar series is also a key opportunity to provide exposure for our students to areas of neuroscience beyond their immediate research interests. As such, NMHI graduate students must attend lectures as part of their program requirements.

This year, there will be a mix of in-person and virtual seminars; all in-person seminars will be held at Oborowsky Degner Seminar Hall, located on the 1st floor of the Li Ka Shing Centre, UofA.

The NMHI seminars are also listed in our events calendar. Please note, the calendar is subject to change.

If you are interested in attending a virtual seminar, please contact nmhicoms@ualberta.ca.
