Karen Peterson

I joined the Faculty of Nursing in 2004. Currently I teach in the After Degree Nursing Program. I have taught lab and community clinical courses. The major focus of my work involves securing clinical placements for undergraduate and graduate nursing students.

My Master's project focused on developing a tool to assess student's perception of their clinical learning environment. I have participated in research projects focusing on the Clinical Learning Units and the Interprofessional Clinical Unit. Currently, I am involved in research related to interprofessional experiences for health science students.
