The University of Alberta, Faculty of Nursing presents Dr. Pauline Paul and Dr. Shannon MacDonald. Dr. Pauline Paul highlights key moments influencing the development of nursing in Alberta, including how past epidemics and pandemics influenced change. Dr. Shannon MacDonald discusses how the current COVID-19 pandemic highlights the critical role of nurses and how it may impact nursing's role moving forward. The session is moderated by Dr. Jeanne Besner, health care change catalyst with greetings and remarks from Dr. Greta Cummings, Dean, Faculty of Nursing.
