eClass and Google Consultations

Individual consultations are available for Faculty of Nursing faculty and staff. To request a session, contact nuelearn@ualberta.ca. Include your name, office or desk location, and at least 2 possible times when you are available to meet.

Email Etiquette 
With an ever increasing reliance on electronic communication, appropriate email correspondence is paramount.  Familiarize yourself with the basics.

The Horizon Report 
An annual report that is researched and produced by NMC (New Media Consortium).  The report lists technologies and trends, issues and challenges that lie ahead of those in teaching and learning.  See NMC's page on the Horizon Project and download a copy of this year’s report.

The Theory and Practice of Online Learning, by Terry Anderson 
Terry Anderson is a professor at Athabasca University in the Masters of Distance Education program, serves on several advisory committees with the Alberta and Canadian Governments, and is the Canada Research Chair in Distance Education.
