How long have you supported the Faculty of Nursing?

I am new to the faculty! I just began working in nursing earlier this year.

What does a typical day of work look like for you? 

My typical day generally consists of responding to emails, initiating contracts/appointment letters, addressing any questions related to human resources and consulting with the HR Service Partner.

What’s the most common question people ask you about your role?  

The most common question I am asked is what I did before I came to work in the Faculty of Nursing. The answer to this is that I used to conduct research in an aquatic toxicology lab at the U of A!

Where is your favourite spot on campus? 

I really like the “Harry Potter Room” in Rutherford Library. When I was an undergrad, it was one of my favourite places to go to and study.

What is one thing your colleagues don’t know about you? 

I think one thing my colleagues may not know about me is that I am quite the plant collector! I really like learning about different kinds of plants and I have quite a few at home.

What do you enjoy most about working at the Faculty of Nursing? 

My favourite part about working at the Faculty of Nursing is the community. I have met some really awesome people who have not only taught me a lot but who have now also become some of my very good friends.
