Orientation

Orientation

In addition to the university-wide new student orientation provided by the University of Alberta Students' Union, the Faculty of Nursing has a separate mandatory orientation for all new undergraduate students.

Why is orientation mandatory? Our undergraduate programs are structured differently than many of the programs at the University, mainly to accommodate for the clinical placements that occur throughout the program. Faculty of Nursing orientation covers important details about our programs and clinical placements.

Details about orientation are also included in a Welcome Letter you will receive via email (to your UAlberta email account) closer to the start date for your program.  If you do not receive a Welcome Letter, please check your junk or spam mail folder first and then contact the Faculty of Nursing Undergraduate Office at (780) 492-5300 or nursing.undergraduate@ualberta.ca.

Students in the Camrose BScN-After Degree Program will receive a Welcome Package in the mail (to the address listed in your Bear Tracks). If you do not receive a Camrose Program Welcome Package or have any questions, please contact the Camrose After Degree Program Assistant at (780) 679-1508.
