If you are seeking a distance education program, the BScN programs offered at the University of Alberta are likely not the best choice for you. Nursing clinical and tutorial education make up the central core of our BScN programs and all require your attendance at the university.
It is possible to take some supporting courses through correspondence at other schools for transfer credit (such as electives), but this does not apply to the majority of courses - our programs require full-time campus attendance.
The Faculty of Nursing does on occasion offer courses on eClass, which means that much of the work would be done from home, but there are still certain aspects that require spending some time on campus. Space in eClass course sections is very limited, and there is no guarantee that you will be able to take a given eClass course during a semester of your choice.
