Description: Our aim is to identify and to report on the effectiveness of strategies (interventions) to increase healthcare managers' use of knowledge, research evidence and best practices in their management practice. We will use traditional systematic review methods to identify all relevant literature, using a search strategy developed with the help of a health sciences librarian. First, we will examine the effectiveness of strategies to support managers' use of best practices in their organization and second, we will examine if effective strategies also influence outcomes for healthcare professionals, and patients.
