Congratulations to our Chair, Dr. David Eisenstat on being awarded the Academic Faculty Research Paper Award for the academic year 2017-2018.
The paper, GABAergic Interneuron Differentiation in the Basal Fore brain Is Mediated through Direct Regulation of Glutamic Acid Decarboxylase Isoforms by Dix Homeobox Transcription Factors, was found to be outstanding and fulfilled all the criteria for this award which is given to two local faculty members of the Department of Pediatrics every year.
