Junior Faculty Development

The Department of Pediatrics has created a series of workshops for Junior Faculty. Academic physicians are expected to perform teaching, research, and clinical activities. To assist Junior Faculty in these roles, workshops are offered on a two year curriculum in the following topic areas: clinical practice, teaching skills and scholarship, grant writing and publishing, mentorship and career advice, and dossier creation to document activities. Attendance, while not mandatory, is strongly encouraged by your Department Chair; it is expected that faculty will attend 75% of the sessions offered.
