Financial Assistance

All graduate students in the Department of Pharmacology are funded by their supervisors with or without assistance from the Department. The current minimum stipend is $26,000 for MSc and PhD students. Graduate students in the Department of Pharmacology are eligible to receive competitive scholarships from a number of different external agencies as well as internal studentships and fellowships.

Students graduating from our program with an Honors undergraduate degree in Pharmacology with a GPA (last 2 years of study) of 3.7 or higher, and accepted into our graduate program, are eligible to receive a Department of Pharmacology Graduate Recruitment Award. This award, valued between $750 and $1500, is given as a lump sum payment at the beginning of the student's first term of graduate studies.
