Research

The Kiang laboratory utilizes in vitro (i.e. animal and human), in vivo (animal), and clinical (patients) experimental models to investigate the pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, toxicology, and pharmacogenomics of xenobiotics and endogenous compounds. Translational approaches (from basic scientific bench investigation to human studies) are routinely conducted. The Kiang laboratory has an expertise in drug concentration analysis, using a variety of analytical assays and instruments.
