Here's our top five 'newsmakers' in 2015.

1.'Cracking' gluten intolerance
Researchers used egg yolks to create supplement that could improve the lives of people with celiac disease.

Partnership between UAlberta dream team and funders could be 'game-changer' for patients.

3. Gold, silver and a 4.0
Pharmacy student June Chen graduated with a gold and silver medal plus a stellar GPA.

4. Students start the conversation about mental health
Mental health matters. That's the message third-year pharmacy student Scott Wakeham and his classmates wanted to share with their peers at the University of Alberta heading into the final exam period. Their video has since been viewed over 10,000 times.

Bond-themed male beauty pageant sees students compete for bragging rights for a good cause. Pharmacy students raised over $25,000 in support of Movember
