4. Expectations of a Supervisor and the Supervisory Committee

Section 1.2 in the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research Graduate Program Manual provides a general introduction to the expectations and responsibilities of graduate supervisors. In addition, Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research provides a number of resources for supervisors that outline the supervisor's role, tips for success, tracking student progress, dispute resolution, dealing with difficult students, legal obligations, and additional topics for successfully supervising graduate students.
