6.3 Candidacy Examination (Doctor of Philosophy Program)

The Calendar describes general procedures for the candidacy examination. Format and content of the candidacy examination is at the discretion of the supervisory committee. The candidacy exam must be held by the 36th month of the beginning of a student's program. The supervisor is responsible for arranging the candidacy examination.
