Northern Alberta Development Council - Pharmacy Bursary
Value up to $12,000

The Pharmacy Student Bursary is a return service bursary of $6,000 or $12,000 per year for a maximum of 4 years of the pharmacy program. It is an incentive to encourage Alberta pharmacy students to live and work in northern Alberta upon graduation. The Pharmacy Bursary is non-repayable if you agree to live and work in the north. Your return service is one year of full time employment in your field of studies for each year of bursary support received.

Alberta College of Pharmacists Leadership Development Award
Value up to $5,000
Application Deadline: May 15
To support the development and advancement of professionalism, citizenship, and leadership in pharmacy, ACP has created the new Leadership Development Award. The award will be presented annually to a pharmacy student entering their third or fourth year of study at the UofA, and who has contributed and achieved measurable results in the award categories. CSHP-CAPSI Hospital Pharmacy Student Award
Prof. Dev. Week travel/$500

You must be a member of CSHP and CAPSI to be eligible for this National award. Eligibility criteria/requirements and application form are available in the secure members section of www.cshp.ca.
Ottawa-Carleton Pharmacists’ Association Student Bursary
(Value $1,000; Application Deadline: September 30)
The Ottawa-Carleton Pharmacists’ Association offers three bursaries to students who are enrolled in an undergraduate program at a Faculty of Pharmacy in a Canadian university. Applicants must have some experience working in a pharmacy environment and must also have a preceptor who is a member in good standing of the Ottawa-Carleton Pharmacists’ Association. TD Bank Interprofessional Award
Application Deadline: November 15
Awarded annually to a student from a University of Alberta Health Science faculty who demonstrates commitment to interprofessional health education. Eligibility: Currently enrolled in the final year of their pre-licensure or degree-granting program of study in a University of Alberta Health Science program. Only students who have never received this award as a University of Alberta health science student are eligible to apply. Application information
Gyro Club of Edmonton
Application Deadline: November 1 at 4:00 p.m.
The Alberta Centre on Aging's Gyro Club of Edmonton Undergraduate Scholarship in Aging. In order to promote and foster aging related studies, the Gyro Club of Edmonton has funded an award to acknowledge an outstanding undergraduate student working on an aging-related topic.
The competition is open to all full-time University of Alberta undergraduate students whose academic and research focus is on aging or aging-related topics.
