Duncan McCallum awarded Kornelsen Undergraduate Essay Prize

Duncan McCallum has been awarded the Isaak Kornelsen Memorial Undergraduate Essay Prize in Philosophy for his paper, “Pacifist or Realist? Augustine on the Ethics of Warfare". The paper was written for Professor Zupko's PHIL 436 seminar on Augustine. The prize is awarded each year for the best undergraduate student essay written for a University of Alberta undergraduate philosophy course in the award year.

Ryan Beaupré's "Dasein and Teleology" and Cam Edwards's "Malfunctions of Baker’s Author-Intention Account of Proper Function and a Possible Fix" also received honorable mentions.
