Academic Scholars and Visitors

The Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation recognizes that the presence of academic visitors (professors, post-doctoral scholars, graduate and undergraduate students, and/or members of the sport and recreation profession) enrich the academic environment and promote an element of intellectual diversity.

If you are interested in visiting the University of Alberta, Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation, your first step is to review the list of faculty members for their area of expertise. When you locate a faculty member with similar research interests, you are welcome to make contact directly to discuss a possible collaboration opportunity.

Once a partnership is formed, the International and Community Education Office is available to assist in obtaining a letter of invitation for immigration, and with other essentials to welcome you to the Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation

Please note that fees may be associated with being an academic visitor.
