Nonmatriculated Applicants

To be considered for admission as a non-matriculated applicant, a student must be 21 years of age or older by the first day of classes of the term in which admission is sought.

Nonmatriculated applicants will be considered for the Bachelor of Arts in Recreation, Sport and Tourism, Bachelor of Kinesiology and Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degrees only. 

Non-matriculated applicants with no previous transferable post-secondary coursework (or less than *24) will be considered for admission based on a minimum average of 70% in:

  1. English Language Arts 30-1
  2. Subject from Group A or C (Biology 30 recommended)

Possession of this minimum average does not guarantee admission to the program.

Non-matriculated applicants who have completed a minimum of 24 credits of transferable post-secondary coursework will be considered for admission based on the following:

  • A minimum 70% average in:
    1. English Language Arts 30-1
    2. Subject from Group A or C (Biology 30 recommended) 
  • A competitive average on all transferable post-secondary coursework completed.
