Registration, Transfer and Withdrawal policy

Registration

  • Registration is strictly first come, first served
  • University of Alberta students, staff, faculty or alumni require a valid ONEcard to register
  • You will need course code number or the name, date, and time of the course 
    • Course code numbers can be found at www.activityreg.ualberta.ca along with a complete description of all activity programs offered by our Faculty
  • Payment required at registration
  • Emailed receipts for phone, fax, mail or in person registrations; online registrants are directed to a registration confirmation page; receipt will be e-mailed to you
    • In the case of non-delivery of confirmation within 1 - 2 days, contact the Activity Registration Zone at activityreg@ualberta.ca or 780-492-2231
    • Please ensure we have a viable email address for you

Withdrawals and transfers policy

  • You may withdraw from, or transfer to, a program prior to the start of third class
  • No refund or credit after third class
  • If registering for a program after the third class, you are not eligible for a credit or refund if you withdraw


Withdrawal policy

  • Choose refund or credit if withdrawing without transferring to a different program

Refund

  • A $15 administration fee will be assessed for all refunds. (See Activity Registration Zone for complete details
  • A refund can be issued for the value of the remaining classes less a $15 administration fee
  • If original payment was by credit card or debit card the refund will be issued to the card used for the original payment
  • If original payment was by cash or cheque you will be refunded by cheque.  This will be mailed to you in 3-6 weeks from the time the refund is requested

Credit

  • Instead of a refund you can also request a credit be issued to your account
  • The credit will be for the cost of the remaining classes; no $15 administration fee will be assessed when requesting a credit
  • This credit can be used towards most recreational programs and services offered by the Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation
  • If a refund is requested at a later date a $15 administration fee will be assessed

Transfer Policy

  • A $5 transfer fee is assessed on all transfers
  • If transferring to a program of greater value you will be required to pay the difference between the programs; if the program is of lesser value the difference will be credited to your account
  • No transfer fee if your program is cancelled and you transfer to another program
