The 19th International Congress on Plasma Physics

The University of Alberta, the University of Saskatchewan and the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics are proud organizers of the 19th International Congress on Plasma Physics (ICPP 2018), scheduled to take place in the beautiful Canadian city of Vancouver from June 4 – 8, 2018.

The ICPP is an important venue to discuss recent progress in the field and look toward the future of Plasma Science. ICPP is broad in scope and includes topics such as:

  • fundamentals of plasma physics;
  • fusion plasmas, plasmas in astrophysics and space;
  • plasma applications and technologies;
  • complex plasmas;
  • high energy density plasmas;
  • quantum plasmas; and
  • laser-plasma interaction.

 The scientific program includes invited papers (plenary and review) as well as oral and poster presentations of contributed papers.
