Staff Directory (in alphabetical order)
Bernadette Chan works to ensure that the day-to-day financial and human resources activities in the office are carried out efficiently and according to best practices, and comply with U of A policy and procedure.
Charlotte Padilla is responsible for maintaining the office’s electronic mail database as well as tracking all records and action items. Charlotte is the first point of contact for the President’s Office and assists with general inquiries.
Bobbi Schiestel is responsible for project and issues management, administrative leadership and supervision of the Office of the President. Bobbi provides oversight of senior advisory and administrative management services to both the office and the university.
Events and Project Co-ordinator
Sheila Stosky manages all functions and events hosted by the President, schedules the President’s calendar in relation to invitations, and manages the President’s residence.
Chief of Staff
Catherine Swindlehurst provides direct consultation and advice to the president and other members of the university’s executive on issues, policies and decisions. Catherine takes a lead role in identifying strategic linkages between institutional portfolios and developing long-term, mission-based priorities for the president.
Janet Walker provides management and oversight of the president’s schedule and briefing materials. Janet is also charged with supporting and co-ordinating the President’s Executive Committee (PEC).
