Bernadette Chan works to ensure that the day-to-day financial and human resources activities in the office are carried out efficiently and according to best practices, and comply with U of A policy and procedure. Bernadette also provides financial and budget services and advice to other units within the President's Office portfolio and hierarchy.
Senior Executive Coordinator
Shelley Klatt provides management and oversight of the president’s schedule and briefing materials. Shelley is also charged with supporting and coordinating the President’s Executive Committee (PEC) - Strategic.
Charlotte Padilla is responsible for preparing daily briefing materials, managing correspondence, and tracking all records and action items submitted to the President’s Office. Charlotte is also the first point of contact for the Office of the President.
Bobbi Schiestel is responsible for project and issues management, administrative leadership and supervision of the Office of the President. Bobbi provides oversight of senior advisory and administrative management services to both the office and the university.
Events and Project Specialist
Sheila Stosky manages all functions and events hosted by the president, and handles event invitations on behalf of the president. Sheila also coordinates and oversees protocol when the president attends an event.
Chief of Staff
Catherine Swindlehurst provides direct consultation and advice to the president and other members of the university’s executive on issues, policies and decisions. Catherine takes a lead role in identifying strategic linkages between institutional portfolios and developing long-term, mission-based priorities for the president.
Special Projects Manager
Janet Walker works half-time and is responsible for a range of special projects in the Office of the President on an ad hoc basis.
