The youths include those participating in the Hope for Youth Scholarship Program, the Canada-Japan Co-op Program and the Japan-Canada Academic Consortium's annual forum, as well as young Canadians working in Japan as part of the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme and Japanese alumni of the Working Holiday program.
