The Visiting Student Certificate Program (VSCP) is a unique program enabling students to study at UAlberta for six to 12 months in regular academic courses while enhancing their English language skills.
The VSCP is for students whose first language is not English and who are registered in a degree program at a university outside of Canada.
Students enrolled at other universities may be able to attend the University of Alberta for one term or one academic year as a visiting student. The purpose is usually to receive course credit that can be transferred back to their degree at their home institution.
If you are interested in studying at UAlberta as a full-time undergraduate student (in a degree program), please visit our admissions site.
