Laptop Lending Program

The Office of the Dean of Students has a limited supply of Chromebooks that can be lent to U of A students. Due to the limited numbers of Chromebooks, this will be conducted via a lending program.

Please complete this form if you do not have access to a computer and require additional technology support. We will contact you directly to begin the process of lending you a Chromebook.

Program Eligibility:

- Laptops can be lent to current U of A students enrolled in at least 1 course.

- The lending length will be determined with the student, but will typically be for the duration of the term.

- Laptops are intended to support students' ability to complete their course work remotely.

- Laptops are only accessible to students without any technological equipment

Chromebooks only have access to the internet, including the Google suite (docs, spreadsheets, etc.). As such, they can be used to access eClass and to complete written assignments. Additional software cannot be added to the Chromebooks. Students will need access to a stable WiFi connection. More information can be found at bit.ly/uachrome

Students will need to comply with a lending agreement.
