Nancy Galambos and Harvey Krahn were invited to write a blog post for the London School of Economics Business Review, based on their recent longitudinal study on the transition to adulthood, co-authored former Psychology graduate student, Andrea Howard. They find that many youth experience fluctuations in their employment and educational paths. However, only employment "floundering" was associated with difficulties in career outcomes-educational fluctuation was not related to later career satisfaction or income.
