BSc Psychology Minor

A minor in psychology requires the completion of 8 psychology courses (★24), with students being required to complete the following:

  • PSYCO 104 - Basic Psychological Processes (★3)
  • PSYCO 105 - Individual and Social Behavior (★3)
  • ★3 from
    • PSYCO 258 - Cognitive Psychology
    • PSYCO 275 - Brain and Behavior
    • PSYCO 282 - Behavior Modification
  • ★3 from
    • PSYCO 223 - Lifespan Developmental Psychology
    • PSYCO 239 - Abnormal Psychology
    • PSYCO 241 - Social Psychology
  • At least ★6 in PSYCO at the 300-level or higher (minimum of ★3 from Science and ★3 from Arts)

Additional Information

Although it does not count toward the minor, students completing a Psychology minor must also take STAT 141 or STAT 151. Many senior PSYCO courses require STAT 141 or STAT 151 as a prerequisite so students must plan accordingly.
