The Psychology Shop purchases, installs, maintains and configures computer hardware and software. The shop also designs and constructs behavioral testing equipment used in research. We are equipped with a paint room, machine shop, electronics area and wood working room. We are your repair specialists for all your electronic and non-electronic equipment and are pleased to offer you general facilitation and support throughout the department. The Psychology Shop is located in BS-P102.
Located on the 2nd floor of the Psychology wing, this library has a diverse collection of journals and books related to psychology. Many hard-to-find journal issues from as far back as the 1950s are available, along with a large number of issues from the 1970s and 1980s. The library also has networked computers, a computerized catalog and checkout system, and a number of tables and chairs.
The Instructional Technology and Resources Lab is where professors, graduate students and departmental staff can access technology resources and support. It is run by an intern under the guidance and supervision of Tom Johnson. Its purpose is to :
- To serve as a resource for instructional materials such as audio, video and computer software
- To provide staff with a trained resource person to help with any instructional technology needs
- To provide support in developing and evaluating instructional technology
