Volunteering helps to balance me. As much as I love to study and be involved in school, I like to give back to communities,” says Uyanwune, who studied as a master of public health student. “It makes my day better.
Winning this award helped me focus on my goals for my time at the School and after I graduate,” she says. “I was able to stop worrying about financial pressures and focus on my career as an epidemiologist and how it will help me continue to give back to the community.
