Centre scientists support Canadians in helping their communities achieve their healthiest potential by:

  • conducting research and evaluations
  • collecting necessary data
  • developing and scaling up tools and interventions
  • sharing and mobilizing research evidence
  • harnessing scientific and experiential (practice and community-based) knowledge through evidence reviews
  • capacity building, and
  • working collaboratively to achieve collective impact.

*Note: Centre scientists must have a formal affiliation as a faculty member, adjunct, or long-standing research collaborations with the School of Public Health, University of Alberta.
