Practicum

All graduate students in a course-based program offered through the School of Public Health complete a practicum as part of their degree requirements. This includes students enrolled in a master of public health (MPH) or postgraduate diploma (PGD) program.

The practicum is a field placement with a relevant organization that addresses public health issues. It is a great opportunity for students to bridge theory and practice, while contributing to a host organization's capacity to execute or evaluate population and public health strategies.
