Students, friends, family and other guests can plan their day and be prepared to enjoy the many proud and memorable moments of convocation.
Guest tickets are reserved for graduands who advise us of their intention to attend the ceremony. There is no cost associated with guest tickets.
Graduands are eligible for up to three guest tickets (in addition to the graduand's ticket). Guest tickets are included in the Convocation Packet. View the pick-up schedule for more details.
As the number of available guest tickets is projected according to past attendance records, the actual number of additional seats available is not known until graduands pick up their tickets. The Office of the Registrar therefore reserves the right to change the number of guest tickets, as required, according to graduand attendance.
Can I get extra guest tickets?
Extra tickets may become available as graduands take less than their maximum. Any tickets not distributed with convocation packets will be made available at the Box Office of the Jubilee Auditorium:
- Shortly after 9 a.m. for the morning ceremony
- Shortly after 2 p.m. for the afternoon ceremony
Any extra tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Given the limited seating at the Jubilee Auditorium there is no guarantee that extra tickets will be available.
We regret that we are unable to accommodate any advance requests for extra tickets.
Parking is available in the Jubilee Carpark located adjacent to the Jubilee Auditorium. Barrier-free spaces are available on the east side of the auditorium and surface parking is available on the south side. A parking fee will be charged during the ceremony. See Parking Services for details including a map of parking available on campus.
Allow extra time to get to Convocation. Campus will be busy with many other students and their families arriving at the same time.
