Final Transcripts for Grade 12 students

For Grade 12 applicants from Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Yukon, and Ontario, the Ministry of Education will be sending final Grade 12 transcripts by the end of July. For applicants who have attended Apply Alberta institutions, your transcripts will be requested on your behalf.

In order to ensure accuracy, the evaluation of these documents is done manually by an Admissions Advisor and can take several weeks. If you would like to confirm that your transcript has been received, you can view this on Bear Tracks under "Application Status". If all required documents have been received, the "Application Status" will show up as "complete".

Once an application evaluation has been finished, your application status will be updated on Bear Tracks. We appreciate your patience and ask that you continue to check your Bear Tracks and UAlberta email address for updates and to ensure you have submitted any other required documents on your To Do List by the specified deadline.

Update for High School Applicants Affected by Fires

Alberta Education has issued a statement about high school students from school districts affected by the fires in these areas. Read the full statement here. Students impacted by this announcement do not need to inform us if they are writing the diploma exam or not.

The University of Alberta will accept your final grades as reported on transcripts produced by Alberta Education, whether or not those grades include diploma exams.

In-Person Payments at Student Connect

Students can complete and pay for the following services online via debit* or credit:

Our current email response time is approximately 3-5 business days. However, we are not able to respond to inquiries regarding the status of your application or documents you may have submitted. Please continue to check your BearTracks and UAlberta email address for updates.

Please note our Admissions unit is only open for phone inquiries between 1:00 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. MST (Monday to Friday).

If you submitted all of the required documents for your application more than 8 weeks ago but haven’t yet received an update to your application status, you can contact Student Connect at 780-492-3113 or toll-free at 1-855-492-3113 to speak with an advisor. Advisors will only be able to provide application updates over the phone if the above criteria have been met.
