IELTS/TOEFL test cancellations

The University of Alberta is aware that IELTS and TOEFL centres in China have suspended testing due to the ongoing Coronavirus public health issue. We also know that it may be difficult to obtain other documents at this time. We are still able to evaluate applications for early admission without English Language Proficiency results. Apply and submit your required documentation as it becomes available using UAlberta Launchpad.

Applicants with questions should email for further information.

If you are fulfilling English Language Proficiency or Spoken English Proficiency with an IELTS or TOEFL test and you have already received your results, you can upload an electronic copy of your Test Report Form through your UAlberta Launchpad portal. Ensure that the electronic copy is legible and it contains your Test Report Form number (for IELTS).

Uploading documents to your UAlberta Launchpad

Once you have submitted your application and have gained access to your UAlberta Launchpad, in most cases you will be able to upload electronic copies of your transcripts. These will be used for your preliminary evaluation, however, official documents may be required at a later time. Once an Admissions Advisor has evaluated your application, your Checklist will be updated.
