This course engages students in exploring the historical background of Rwanda, specifically examining the origin of hate, violence, humiliation, and evil which befell the Tutsi and led to the 1994 Genocide against them. Students will have the opportunity to interact and examine the 1994 Genocide's theological, psychological, and social impact on Rwandan people. This course will also explore available clinical and spiritual resources that may contribute to the healing and recovery of Rwandan survivors from the trauma of the 1994 Genocide.
