Ditch the discomfort of talking about your finances! Money Talks initiatives aim to break down the stigma and begin a healthy conversation on campus about student finances. Whether you’re a youth in grade school or a UAlberta PhD student, we offer workshops, group sessions, personal advising, and more for all students. We can help you gain a better understanding of your unique financial situation, and give you the tools you need to make it work for you.
Money Talks: Workshop Series
This series of workshops explores how you currently spend and how you'd like to spend, while providing you with tools, tips and activities to make it happen. Everyone makes financial missteps, but these workshops can help you get on the right track to making better decisions in the future. There's something for everyone!
All workshops are free and last approximately 1.5 hours. Workshops are held throughout Fall and Winter terms.
Money Talks workshops have been adapted from a program originally created by University of Alberta Students' Union.
