Background Information

Mark Hall was born and educated in South Africa. He has worked clinically in a number of practice areas in South Africa, United Kingdom and Canada. Mark began working at the University of Alberta as the ACCE in 2007.


Professional Interests

Cardiorespiratory physiotherapy, critical care, clinical education, simulation and interprofessional education.

Current Research

His doctoral work focused on identifying the factors that influence Canadian physiotherapists decisions to supervise physiotherapy students on clinical placement. He continues to work in this area, as well as investigating faculty teacher development and inter-professional learning.
