Our professors are international experts and researchers in the fields of rehabilitation. They are dedicated educators who are passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and rehabilitation medicine professionals.
Our world-renowned professors are the recipients of several international and national awards. Our faculty includes: Canada Research Chairs, Canadian Institutes of Health Research New Investigators and Alberta Innovates- Health Solutions Investigators.
Our Faculty enriches the student experience by providing the most effective learning environment.
As a research-intensive university, we support evidence-based practices and a balanced education that includes quality learning in the classroom and lab as well as hands-on experience through clinical placements and student clinics. We also adopt teaching technology that has been proven to be effective, including simulation labs, e-learning and state-of-the-art clinical equipment. Our synchronized distance learning technology allows our students to train through lectures and labs across three campuses: Edmonton, Camrose and Calgary.
We are committed to ensuring our students are fully prepared for practice. Innovative teaching involves reaching out and providing rehabilitation service and education. It happens through student engagement and sharing knowledge with established clinical professionals.
