MSc PT students attending the Augustana Campus will take their classes in the classroom building located on the Augustana Campus. MSc PT classes (lectures, seminars and labs) are delivered either face-to-face or by real-time web/video cast technology on 60 inch plasma screens to view professors from other campuses. State of the art technology is employed to ensure that students have real time communication with lecturers based in Edmonton, Camrose and Calgary. While the majority of classes are broadcast from Edmonton, faculty will broadcast from all campuses throughout the program. In-person faculty will be present at all campuses during all lectures, seminars and labs.
The Augustana classroom and lab spaces were renovated in 2009 and 2011 and are fully equipped.
Students at the Augustana campus complete their studies on a small campus of about 1000 students located in the city of Camrose in rural Alberta. Students have access to ample study space and services in the new Library and Student Forum, as well as access to the University of Alberta’s online library resources. The Augustana cohort enjoys the benefits of living in a rural community while having easy access to the services, festivals and venues of Edmonton, located approximately one hour away.
