Pilot Seed Grant Programs

The competitive seed grant program encourages and supports multidisciplinary teams to develop new and innovative research directions and create proof of concept and pilot studies in preparation for larger-scale, longer-term projects to be funded by external sources.

The Office of the VPRI currently has two active joint Seed Grant Programs with international partners. The intent of these competitive seed grant programs is to encourage and catalyze international collaborations between UAlberta and our partners in new and innovative research directions that lead to larger-scale and longer-term partnerships funded by external sources.
