Sign Up for Brainstorming Workshops for Genome Canada Competition

Contact Genome Alberta by Feb 14 to sign up for workshops as part of the 2020 Large-Scale Applied Research Project (LSARP) Competition.

04 February 2020

On January 30, Genome Canada officially launched the 2020 Large-Scale Applied Research Project (LSARP) Competition: Genomic Solutions for Natural Resources and the Environment. Additional information and competition documents can be found on their website.

In preparation for the competition, Genome Alberta is offering brainstorming workshops to support the research community in conceiving and developing competitive proposals. These workshops are for specific project topics or research themes that would be applicable to the natural resources area.

If you are interested in arranging a brainstorming workshop contact Niall Kerrigan, senior program officer, with Genome Alberta as soon as possible, no later than February 14.  This will help them organize the meeting well in advance for the registrations due date on March 2, 2020. Please provide Niall Kerrigan with a rough outline of the project idea/theme area, stakeholders you would like involved, and a couple of date options for hosting the meeting in February.
