CRC Deadlines

February 1, 2021

New and renewal nominations: Please complete the CRC website forms, upload the associated attachments and inform crcadmin@ualberta.ca the nomination is ready for review. Paper copies are not needed. Applicants must also create and submit a new Proposal request using the RSO Researcher Homepage at this time and send associated RES# to crcadmin@ualberta.ca. Contact referees to request they send electronic copies of their refernce letters to crcadmin@ualberta.ca (see UAlberta's CRC Getting Started Guide for details) - letters due to CRC admin by Sept. 21.

Contact your Associate Dean (Research) and Mireille Estephan (Research Services) to discuss any possible Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) allocation related to an upcoming CRC application.

March 15, 2021

Nominations and renewal nominations: Update all electronic files (on CRC portal) for review and decision by President's Advisory Committee for Senior Academic Appointments (PACSAA). Notify crcadmin@ualberta.ca when files are complete.

April 6, 2021

PACSAA review results returned to nominating team.

April 12, 2021

Approved nominations: Complete requested revisions and upload the revised attachments by this date. A single-sided original of the final complete nomination, bearing the nominee's original signature in spaces provided in nomination form, must be delivered to VPRI Office (SAB 2-51) by this date. This is your final copy - electronic copy and hardcopy must be identical. CRC admin obtain provost's signature on the original.

April 19, 2021

CRC Deadline: CRC admin submits approved nominations electronically and sends signed hardcopies to Chairs Secretariat (Ottawa).
