Don’t let your luck run out

17 March 2021

St. Patrick’s Day is coming up on Wednesday—but remember to spread Irish spirit, not COVID-19.

Some provincial restrictions have been lifted (so you can finally go to the gym!) but remember indoor and outdoor gathering restrictions remain in place. Police, Peace Officers and Health & Safety officers will be working all over the province this week to monitor St. Patrick's Day gatherings.

Follow provincial rules for gathering off campus
All indoor social gatherings remain prohibited while outdoor social gatherings can have up to 10 people. Be aware that if you violate the public health order, you may be issued a ticket or fined.

Take your celebrations outside and off campus. Gatherings on campus must be with your household (or the two people in your bubble if you live alone). Have fun and remember to consume alcohol safely, respectfully and in accordance with the law.

Staying safe on campus
To refresh your memory on how to safely gather in residence, refer to the Expectations of Residents.

Campus continues to prohibit large gatherings of any kind but you can still have fun. Check out our list of 15 things to do in residence while social distancing for some ideas.
